It was winter time when our central heating system suddenly got busted. I called our provider and asked them about our central heating cover. He said that repairing the system was included in our insurance so they sent someone over to our house right away. A few hours later, a man came knocking on our door. I opened it and it was the man who’s supposed to fix our central heating system. We took him downstairs where he then checked our central heating system. He said that our boiler was broken and that we needed to have it repaired. I asked him if he could repair it. He said he couldn’t since it’s not included in our boiler breakdown cover. I asked him what a boiler break down cover was. He said that when we chose the services we wanted to include in our central heating insurance, we didn’t have the repairing of the boiler included.
I then asked him about what we can do to have our boiler covered in our policy. He said that we’re going to have to call the provider and ask them about boiler insurance. I called the provider to ask them about their boiler insurance policy. He told me how much a boiler insurance would cost me. I was okay with it so they added it to our central heating cover. I told the repairman about it so he fixed our boiler right away. He then said that he’ll be coming back annually to check on our central system and our boiler. He also gave me the number of which we can call in case of emergency. I thanked him for repairing our boiler and reminded that we call the number if we need anything. I’m so glad our central heating system is back to normal now.
